The panel turner increases the length of the parts that are able to be end banded from 50″ to 90″. Once the parts leave the catch area, they extend out onto the panel turner, where a series of posts, with roller bearings, use the momentum of the parts to turn them 90 degrees. This change in orientation allows the parts to fit on the return extension and can be transferred back down to the operator at the infeed of the edgebander.
