The Taylor
Opti-Sizer was introduced at the 1988 IWF Show in Atlanta.
Though the original won a Challengers Award that year,
new technology in ultrasonics and computers lead us
to a major redesign in 1994. Many customers have purchased
and installed the upgrade.
It includes:
- A new control box and
computer
- New self calibrating software
- New ultrasonic circuitry
The advantages are:
- Faster operation - 50-100% faster
- Greater accuracy
- Fewer adjustments during operations
- Less down time
In 1997, we built our first 36" wide
Glue Applicator to compliment our high production
Opti-Sizers. This eliminates the need for the
compression conveyor and improves material flow,
especially on long boards. |
