The DP2 is equipped with 6 or 8 sections,
consisting of four pressure clamps and two cross clamps.
The system on each section is activated by one valve.
The cross clamps align and square the doors followed
by the pressure clamps finishing the squaring action
and applying pressure to the joints. Each clamp is roller mounted for
easy adjustment with the center bar being removable for gluing
longer doors. A motor drive and air operated front rest
make rotation from section to section simple and easy.
Production
The curing time of glue limits the production. Production
is based on cycle time and door size. Assuming that in
a 8 section machine, each section is curing 2 doors and
assuming a cycle time of 10-12 minutes, production per
shift equals:
One Section:
=2 doors
One Cycle:
=10 minutes (16 Doors)
=6 cycles/hour (96 Doors)
=42 cycles/shift (672 Doors)
Production output:
=2 doors x 42 cycles or
=672 doors/shift (For 8 Section Machines)
=504 doors/shift
